How to play One Button Traffic
One Button Traffic is an endless intersection-control game with a deliberately simple input: one button changes which direction has the green light. Cars keep arriving from all four sides, queues build up and the spawn rate increases over time. Your goal is to move as many vehicles through the intersection as possible without allowing two crossing streams to collide.
Horizontal and vertical traffic take turns getting the green light. Press the signal button at the right moment to switch the active direction. Cars on red will stop near the intersection, while cars on green continue through. A collision in the centre ends the run.
Controls
- Desktop: Space or click Switch Signal
- Mobile: Tap the large Switch Signal button
- The current green direction is shown in the game and the live stats bar
Tips
- Switch before one direction builds a long queue.
- Avoid changing the signal while cars from the previous direction are still crossing.
- At high speed, short alternating windows are safer than long green phases.
