How to Troubleshoot Browser Games on Mobile
A browser game should not require a mystery APK or an unrelated download. If a ZGame title is not behaving correctly on a phone, start with the browser and connection before changing anything risky.
If the game stays blank
Wait for the page to finish loading, then refresh once. A weak connection can load the page shell before the game files are ready. Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data can help identify whether the issue is network-specific.
If a content blocker is active, temporarily test the game with the blocker disabled for ZGame. Strict script blocking can stop legitimate game code as well as advertising scripts. Re-enable your blocker afterward if you prefer it.
If touch controls feel unresponsive
Make sure you are touching the game's control area rather than a browser navigation gesture zone. On some phones, edge swipes can compete with game controls. Full-screen mode, when offered by the game, can reduce accidental browser gestures.
Clean the screen, remove accidental multi-touch input, and try portrait or landscape orientation if the game supports both. Some titles are intentionally designed around one orientation, so follow the control note shown on that game's page.
If sound does not start
Mobile browsers often prevent audio from autoplaying before the user interacts with the page. Tap or start the game once, check the device media volume, and confirm that silent mode or a Bluetooth output device is not redirecting the sound.
Do not assume a muted start means the game is broken. Browser audio rules are designed to reduce unwanted sound from websites.
If the page reloads when you switch apps
Phones manage memory aggressively. A large game tab may be discarded while another app is open, especially when the device is low on memory. Close unused tabs and apps before a longer session. If the game supports account-backed progress, use its save flow before leaving the browser.
If a score or level seems lost
First check whether the game supports stored progress or only a best score. Anonymous browser data may stay on one device, while account-backed features can require sign-in. Clearing cookies or site storage can remove information that was only stored locally.
Do not repeatedly clear browser data as a troubleshooting step if you are trying to preserve a local session. Try a normal refresh first.
If performance is slow
Lower background activity, close extra tabs, disable battery-saver modes that heavily throttle the browser, and keep enough free storage for the device to operate normally. Older phones may run graphically busy games more slowly even when the network is fast.
When to report a problem
If the same issue happens repeatedly, note the game title, phone model, browser name, what you expected to happen and what actually happened. A concise reproduction description is much more useful than sharing private account information.
