How to play Snake Classic
Snake Classic is a polished browser Snake game with keyboard, swipe and touch-button controls, changing fruit and speed effects. ZGame connects its live score to your personal best and leaderboard and can save the exact snake, food and movement state for later.
Steer the snake around the board and collect fruit without crashing. Direction inputs also influence movement speed. Save Progress captures the current snake body, food, score and speed so the run can continue later.
Controls
- Desktop: Arrow keys; Space pauses
- Mobile: Swipe or use the built-in direction pad
- ZGame toolbar: Pause/Resume, Restart, Save Progress and Fullscreen
Tips
- Leave yourself escape lanes as the snake grows.
- Avoid rapid opposite-direction changes.
- Use the edges carefully when speed increases.
